In the case of broken belts in the use of polyamide flat belt, the form of the joint, the jointing process and the quality of the joint have a great influence on the strength of the joint. Practice shows that most of them occur at the joints, so a lot of experimental research work has been carried out on the joints of the newly developed steel core conveyor belt, in addition to the necessary tests on the belt's anti-tearing, impact resistance, flame retardant properties, hygiene features, anti-static and so on, and on the joints of this high-strength grade of polyamide flat belt. Polyamide flat belt joints are subjected to the same alternating stresses as the body of the belt during operation. The form of damage under such alternating stresses is very different from that under static load.
