What are the main types of elevator belts?

This type of belt will be used together with buckets to convey materials vertically or in the steep inclined angle. This kind of belt also use polyester fabric that can withstand high tension because it has to support a heavy load from the buckets. Elevator belt can be made with various kinds of cover rubber grade, e.g. P, N, M, OR1, OR2, HR100, HR120, HR150.

Thickness can be chosen from 5mm-30mm, with different levels of core layers and different tensions

PU flat belts generally include P1, P2, P3 and P4 with standard thicknesses 1mm, 2mm, 3mm and 4mm, while custom thicknesses are available upon request. 

PU flat belts provide length from 400 mm to 200 meters, belts are most commonly offered in widths of 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 120mm, but custom sizes are available upon request. 

Polyurethane flat belts usually consist of polyurethane body and steel cord, while custom materials available upon request. Special cords include aramid (kevlar), stainless steel and carbon fiber.

Belts do not need any extra lubrications, so it is environmental friendly. Belts take less space than traditional cables. This reduces operating costs.
