TT5 timing belts are typically constructed with polyurethane material + Kevlar core. This material combination provides exceptional tensile strength, excellent flex resistance, and minimal elongation. The standard width is 10mm, though other widths are available. It is a true seamless timing belt. TT5 belts are primarily used in knitting machinery, such as single-face and double-face circular knitting machines, as well as feeders. On circular knitting machines, a variable-speed drive controls an inverter-regulated motor. This motor drives the drive shaft gear via the timing belt, which then transmits power to the main pulley gear. This rotation drives the needle cylinder carrying the knitting needles to perform the knitting process. Therefore, smooth operation and low noise are essential. Yonghang's TT5 timing belts feature a canvas-backed tooth surface that effectively reduces noise. The back undergoes a matte finish treatment, enhancing slip resistance and wear resistance. The operating temperature range spans from -20°C to +80°C, with short-term resistance up to 110°C. It also exhibits excellent chemical properties, including anti-aging, hydrolysis resistance, UV resistance, ozone resistance, high oil and grease resistance, and resistance to corrosion from most acids and alkalis.
