How do I choose the right coating hardness (Shore A) for my haul-off belt?
Selection depends on the balance between grip and durability. Soft Coatings (35-40 Shore A, e.g., Linatex): Provide maximum friction and are ideal for lightweight or slippery plastic pipes. However, they wear faster. Medium Coatings (50-60 Shore A): A versatile choice for standard cable pulling and profile extrusion. Hard Coatings (70+ Shore A): Offer the longest service life and are used for heavy-duty metal or thick-walled pipe pulling where high clamping pressure is applied.

Why is my haul-off belt slipping on the product?
Slippage is usually caused by three factors: Contamination: Oil or dust buildup on the belt surface (clean with a pH-neutral agent). Improper Profile: The contact area is too small. Switching to a V-groove or U-groove can increase surface contact with the pipe. Worn Coating: Once the friction layer glazes over or thins out, it loses its "bite." Replacing with a high-friction Linatex or Silicone coating can solve this.

Can your belts be used for high-temperature extrusion lines?
Yes. While standard Rubber/Linatex is rated for up to 70°C–80°C, we offer Heat-Resistant Silicone coatings that can withstand temperatures up to 200°C–220°C. These are specifically used for medical tubing or profiles that are still hot when they reach the haul-off unit.

What are the advantages of "Truly Endless" vs. "Spliced" haul-off belts?
Truly Endless (Seamless): Recommended for high-speed or high-precision lines. They have no weak points, provide uniform thickness, and ensure smooth rotation without "thumping" at the joint. Spliced (Joined): More cost-effective and available in any custom length, suitable for standard conveying or slow-speed heavy pulling.

Do you provide custom grooving (U, V, or Multi-V) for specific pipe diameters?
Absolutely. We use CNC precision grinding to mill profiles into the coating based on your specific product diameter. This ensures the belt "wraps" around the product, distributing clamping pressure evenly to avoid deforming thin-walled pipes or cables.

How can I prevent the haul-off belt from tracking off-center?
For long caterpillar haul-off units, we recommend adding an integrated V-guide (K6, K10, or K13) to the tooth side of the belt. This guide locks into the pulley’s groove, ensuring perfect lateral alignment even under high side-loads or uneven clamping pressure.
